How sending works

What happens between clicking Send and the message appearing on a customer's phone.

Deep IQ uses Meta's WhatsApp Cloud API on a shared business number. You don't connect your own number — that's deliberate, it removes the WhatsApp Business setup hassle and shifts the compliance work onto us. When you click Send, here's what happens: 1. We check that you have enough credits (1 credit per message). 2. We check that today's send count plus your batch is under your daily cap. 3. We queue every recipient as a row in our database. 4. A background worker drains the queue once per minute, calling Meta for each recipient. 5. Meta calls our webhook back with sent / delivered / read updates, which appear on the job page. If something fails (bad number, blocked recipient, Meta rate limit), the recipient is marked failed and the credit is refunded automatically. The shared number means your customer sees "Deep IQ" as the sender, not your brand. If brand display matters more than convenience, contact us — we can discuss a dedicated number on a higher plan.
